The Enterprise Incubator of the University of Moratuwa has signed a startup agreement with Aevacode (Pvt) Ltd, a company dedicated to developing affordable electronic test instruments. Under this agreement, the University has allocated dedicated incubator space for Aevacode for a period of two years.
Aevacode’s founder is an alumnus of the University of Moratuwa, and the company has already recruited interns from the University to support its operations. This collaboration strengthens the network within the incubator and provides students with hands-on exposure to real-world product development, enhancing their entrepreneurial mindset.
The selection of Aevacode followed the Enterprise Unit’s established evaluation criteria, which considers the startup’s business model, milestone plan, company profile, and growth potential. By onboarding innovative ventures like Aevacode, the Enterprise Incubator continues to promote a vibrant startup ecosystem within the University, where alumni-led companies and undergraduates work together to transform ideas into market-ready solutions.
