The University of Moratuwa’s Enterprise proudly served as an Ecosystem Partner for Disrupt Asia 2025, Sri Lanka’s premier innovation and entrepreneurship festival, held from September 17 to 20, 2025.
As part of its role, Enterprise shortlisted and showcased three innovative university projects: a 3D Reconstruction with a web-based visualization platform featuring integrated VR support, a Multi-Lane Speed Measurement Edge Module with License Plate Recognition, and a Biomimetic Drag Reduction project.
In addition, the Director of Enterprise contributed to the conference by moderating the roundtable discussion on “IP to Innovation,” which brought together industry leaders, innovators, and academics to explore how intellectual property can drive meaningful commercialization and societal impact.
Enterprise’s participation as an Ecosystem Partner reflects its continued commitment to bridging academia and industry, supporting startups, and promoting technology transfer from the University of Moratuwa to the wider innovation ecosystem.
